iBRoad2EPC – Extending the iBRoad Building Renovation Passport II

iBRoad2EPC – Extending the iBRoad Building Renovation Passport II

This report describes how to implement a selection of indicators in iBRoad2EPC technically.

The main objective is to evaluate if existing indicators or features can be implemented, considering necessary adjustments and adaptations to the project requirement and providing the basis for IT implementation. A SWOT and feasibility analysis supports this.

The following indicators are further exploited:

  • Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) and, in particular, the CARP methodology spreadsheet tool developed by the X-tendo project.
  • Smart Readiness Indicator (SRI), particularly the existing EC spreadsheet tool for method A.
  • Measured energy performance (MEPI) and, in particular, the ready-to-use spreadsheet developed in the X-tendo project.
  • Renovation advice. Here, the iBRoad2EPC project developed its own country-specific database of renovation advice, following the stepwise and deep principles as conceptualised in the iBRoad project and enhanced with EC’s and national long-term decarbonisation and climate targets and MEPs.
  • Digital building logbooks: A key potential of iBRoad2EPC is the possibility of linking it to the logbook developed within the iBRoad project. In parallel, the potential of linking iBRoad2EPC to any Digital Building Logbook proposed by the EC in the future remains and could be investigated accordingly.
